Social worker

The Social worker is an NPC who will take away a baby, toddler, or child if their needs drop too low. If a player has the expansion pack Seasons and the child becomes too cold or too hot, they will also be taken away. If there are any other children under Teen in the house, they will all be removed. Once they are taken away, they will all be available for adoption by a different family (or families). Once a person has the memory of having a child taken away by the Social Worker, they are ineligible for adopting ever again.

The only way to stop the Social Worker from taking away children without cheats is the "Plead with Social Worker" interaction, which is only available in FreeTime to Family Sims via lifetime aspiration benefits . Even if there is a wall around the children, the Social worker will teleport the child out of the structure and to her car.

Player Stories

• I made a social worker move in.She had many alien pregnancies. She is dead now.
• In my game, my child got an F- in school 'cos he was playin' too many computer games and forgets about homework. I tried turning the social worker into a toddler with the boolprop cheat but surprisingly enough, she managed to take the child anyway.
• Once, the social worker came to take my three kids, two are children and one is a baby. I used boolProp and turned the social worker into a vampire. She fled but came back. She kept fleeing and then, I cured her from vampirism and killed her by flies but she returned and took my kids. The mother cried and the father comitted suicide and the mother turned herself into a toddler and, as she is the only one in the house, she was taken away by the social worker.
• I remember one time when my mother sim who had at least 5 babies had to work. She hired the nanny, and unfortunately, the cowplant nearby decided it was hungry. I was watching over the babies on fast forward, and suddenly, I saw Build and Buy mode go grey. I remember thinking, what? Scrolling over, I see the Cowplant's utters fill up with the Nanny juice. The babies were all taken by the Social Worker.

• In my game When i used the gypsy matchmaker my blind date was... the Social worker!! I got her to move in and then married her. -Slew
• In my game, the Social Worker reproached my sim and then they knew each other. They became good friends and then the Social Worker could move in. Now, there is a Sim named "Social Worker" in the neighborhood.
• In my game, the social woker took away my toddler and I love when my toddlers cry. It's fun to see them suffer. Its just so much fun :D

• In my game, I created a family called the Hollycoms. it was 2 boys, Jacob and Joshua and the parents, Andrew and Ashley. On the 2nd day, the kids went to school and the parents went to work. the kids got home earlier than the parents and you can guess what happened, the social worker took them away after about an hour home alone. Ashley had a baby that turned out to be a boy. they named him Jacob, after their (former) oldest son. right now Ashley is trying to get pregnant with her 4th (or 2nd) baby. if it's a boy, that will be their last child, if it's a girl, they'll keep having kids till they get a boy.
• I was playing my family- the Robson's,two girls (joined) they had 4 adopted kids-3 girls and 1 boy, Isabella,Abigail and Walinda-boy was Joao) three were children and the other about to turn into one. And one of the women cheated and fell pregnant with a boy Carlos, he was about to turn into a toddler. My women didn't come home because of a glitch, the social worker came and took all 5 of my kids. so my ladies were not able to adopt anymore but thats alright, the one that cheated just kept spitting out kids :-) to Don Lothario!
• In my game, this alien family added a social worker to their family. Good thing the youngest person was a teen.
• In my game I used cheats to add the Social Worker to Olive Specter's house then made Olive murder her!
• In my game, one of my Sims married the Social Worker so I changed her name to Anna V. Also, the social worker came to take my twins away but I hadn't exactly left them alone. The mom was at work and the dad was watching the kids, but he had gotten abducted by aliens so the son (a kid) was watching the babies and the social worker came. I tried to get them to grow up but I couldn't do it. So I deleted the Social Worker and killed her several times but she just kept coming back. So I did boolprop testingcheatsenabled true then shift-clicked on the car and caused it to have an error and then I deleted it. Then I moved the whole family out of town and we never saw the Social Workers again.
• In my game, there was a family of only 2 Sims: a boy (AFAIR his name was Harry) and his uncle Max, who was an elder. At 6 p.m. Max died (because of his age) and Harry was left alone. Of course, the Social Worker came to take Harry, but he had one day left to become a teenager, so I clicked on him and choose the option to grow up. Harry became a teenager, but he was taken by the Social Worker anyway :(
• I had a single female sim who had two children and lived in the house with her sister. The kids were a girl and a boy, one a child and one a baby. One night my sim was at work and her sister was watching the children. The sister started stargazing and suddenly she was abducted by aliens! (I never had that happen before and had no idea what was going on) but then the social worker came and took my sim's kids away! My lady got home from work to find an empty house - her children had been taken away and the aliens still had her sister.

• in my game i was speeding up time really really fast then this sad music played and a lady came out of the car. IT WAS THE SOCIAL WORKER.It was weird and her face was scary.But i saw her too late and when i saw her she was getting into her car. She took mt toddler and my kid but i still have my teen.IN YOU'RE FACE SOCIAL WORKER!!!!!!!!!!:)

• In my game I had a family called the Delungs (I know it is a werid name) They were a woman named Sarah and her husbond named Cody. They adopted a child named Alan and he grew up into a teen. Later on they adoped a baby and I named it Susie. When she grew up into a todder she got taken away from the social worker. I played with another family I made called the Discos a cople named Angelina and Stu. They wanted a todder so they adoted one and it was Susie!!! So I moved the Delung family in with the disco family and I clicked on the newspaper and pressed go to new home (you know what I mean) while I was on Sarah and I choosed Cody, Alan , and Susie and they moved back to their old home.
• In my game I made a girl and a boy seperate but perfect for each other. They got married and had a little girl, Breanne. Anna(Mom) and Zach(Dad) loved Breanne to death, I mean they wouldn't leave her alone. She grew up into a kid with a platinum aspiration. So she went to school and Anna&Zack went to work. The kid got home 2 hours before Anna&Zach did so this sad music played and they took Breanne away! Anna cried Zach commited suicide and then Anna used boolProp and THAT social worker showed up. Social Worker is dead. THE END!

• Oh, and one of my friends killed a social worker that came from boolProp, there was nobody (exect the SW), and she exited, and I don't know what happened, but she came back... as a you-know-what. She exited without saving (we're in the same boat with Zombies).
• I did plead with social worker and she said she'll leave my kids alone and then she made layer cake for the kids. Then she broke a tv and tried to fix it and got shocked and then a glich she made into a baby and then she had to take herself away. She got like Huh? Huh? Whoaaah! And she grew into a policeguy and then she rang my doorbell from the inside and said i'm dying bye and then she turned into grim and had a baby with maxy the female. Grim-two female cross

• In my game one family had three teens one child and one toddler then a day after the childs birthyday a social worker came because while everyone else was out of the house the nanny was supposed to be watching the toddler but instead she was taking a shower and a glitch made her never come out and then a social worker came and took her away and then two of the teens moved out together when they became adults and adopted a kid and guess what it was their sister.

• I HATE these ladies. I really wanted social bunny to come and I made the mistake to make one of the children have 0 social. I just wanted my kid and social bunny to be friends is all. Anyway, I killed the SW by satelite, but I couldn't play the kid anymore or use the selector so I quit without saving. These Social Workers need to mind their own business.

• i made a family named after my own family gorle then i made the have a child named Chloe i made her a adult then got married then turned them into children the they were taken from the socal worker but i made her a toddler then she teleported my children into the car then she floated and went in her car as a toddler
• If the social worker is about to come 4 my kids I will kill her by drowning or turn my Luke Rossi person in to a murderer so he can kill the social worker, maybe kill her by electricity.
• In my game, when mother was in job, father died from hunger and social worker came for son. It' could be nothing strange, but when i called with the same family adoption service, their returned that son (i think it was glitch).
• In my Game I Used Boolprop To Make A Social Worker In Create A Sim! She Met The Repo-Man And They Had Heaps Of Kids! But I Was Testing Something About The Social Bunnys! I Thought A Little Social Bunny Would Come If I Put The Social On One Of They Kids Way Down! (Stupid, I Know!)

And Then A Real Social Worker came :(.

• In my game the Portland(CAS family) family lived in a federal fortress, and then I accidently pressed adoption instead of repairman and they made me adopt the kid....So then I locked him in a room with a recliner and watched the little brat complain until the social worker came. I was pretty mean to him.... He peed his pants and I made him clean it up! LOL so then the social worker came and took him away and all my adult sims got there wants fufilled because they all wanted to meet someone new! LOL
• I decided to try out the toddler challenge (one parent, seven toddlers) and the results were not what I expected. On the second night the mother died of hunger, leaving 7 little toddlers alone. Luckily though, the Nanny was there and I managed to trap her in the house until the oldest little girl was almost able to become a teen. However, when the kids left for school the last day, the Nanny got out of the house. I tried to use MoveObjects on to get her back in the house but she just kept on walking. When the kids got home from school, one of the boys tried to call another nanny, but she showed up just slightly too late. The social worker took the away children away as the new nanny made herself food in the kitchen. Had the nanny stayed just until 6 that night, they could have been saved.
• My family consisted of Jennifer, Stephy (Jen's daughter) and Jen's roomie John. Jen and John had 4 kids, Jerry, Brooke, James and Sasha. John left cause he was having an affair. This drove the family apart. But everyone was surviving expect Jerry, who was 2 days away from a teen and he got an "F". Then the SW came and took away Jerry, Brooke (kids), James(toddler) and Sasha(baby), but left Stephy! Yay! Jen has discovered she is a lesbian and is dating the SW, but she is only pretending and plans to murder the SW as payback for stealing her kids. Jerry was adopted by criminals, flunked school and is now a criminal.
• I killed SW and when they keep coming back and took my babies, strangley on a rare occassion, Mortimer Goth appeared and called the cops and the SW got arrested. Everyone cheered and became Mort's friend and the SW never came again.
• I used moveobjects on to get rid of the SW's car. I proceeded to delete the kid to save her, and the SW was walking around. I then had her killed.
• One time when my sim was at work and left the baby at home (i hired a nanny, but the nanny was lazy), The toddler needs got low and the social worker came. I was so mad. I killed the nanny :) Shows her right. Some nannys are just horrible. -steph
• This is so, as my French teacher would say, "super fantastically awesome!": There's a glitch in my game so that the Social Worker never comes! She'll be about to but I get an error box comming up and she disapears. I'm free of the threat that social worker AND I can have women wear her outfit in the game so Topa!
