Sophie was originally supposed to be adopted by a fairy family, the [[Goodfellow family|Goodfellows]]. However, due to a prank by either [[Flora Goodfellow]], [[Pip Goodfellow]] or both, Sophie ended up with Linda and the Goodfellows endedwound up with a human child, [[Fawn Goodfellow]]. Because of this she can be considered a Changeling.
