She works as a Book Store Clerk. Jocasta just wants to keep her family happy and she has one hobby, gardening. Her lifetime wish is to have a "Perfect Garden".

The "Loner" [[traits|trait]] seems to be chosen incorrectly because Jocasta's aspiration is [[Popularity]] and she is even Outgoing in [[The Sims 2]]. Other [[traits]] are completely unique. Jocasta's Oppotunities/Wishes are mostly about Gardening. She grows her own garden in the backyard and she treats her plants like they are her children.

By the time the storyline has caught to [[The Sims 2]], Jocasta Bachelor is already deceased. Her husband, [[Simis Bachelor]] is also deceased and her son, [[Michael Bachelor]] married [[Dina Caliente]] but afterawhile died of an old age. This leave Jocasta's daughter, [[Bella Goth]] as the only living descendant through her family. Jocasta died in the [[Elder]] stage, hinting that she could died of an old age, however her [[gravestone|grave]] is nowhere to be found and for that reason it's impossible to resurrect her.
