If there are townies that are descended from the Sim you want to resurrect you can use this method. If you can make them playable, they can resurrect him with the Resurrect-o-Nomitron.

You can get the [[Resurrect-O-Nomitron]] with "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" activated and shift+click on the newspaper, then select Career Rewards under Paranormal, or by typing 'help' in the cheat box and finding the cheat to unlock all career rewards.
