Marty is the quieter of the twins, inheriting his mother's characteristics. He likes talking to people, especially his closest friends, such as [[Angela Pleasant|Angela]] , [[Lilith Pleasant|Lilith]] ,[[Dirk Dreamer| Dirk]] , [[Dustin Broke|Dustin]] and Donnie. Marty has learnt to play [[Guitar|guitar]] , much to approval of his friends. He is in a band with Lilith, Donnie and Dustin and is considering to let Angela in.

Later on in the story, Marty finds himself consoling Richie's sister, Leona, over the death of her father. As the conversation continues, Marty finds himself getting nervous and discovers he has developed feelings for her.
