:The ruleset for Chat is loosely based off the ruleset for [[TSW:IRC|IRC]]. Where profanity isn't allowed at all on-wiki, IRC rules are more relaxed on this, and by extension so is Chat, meaning it's allowed on those two mediums ''in moderation''. There's, in my opinion, no point having two different rulesets for both Chat and IRC meaning any changes we make to one should count for the other.
