Kirsten and her wife knew they wanted to start a family, despite being a bit young. Although the adoption agency initially hesitated on letting such a young couple adopt, they decided to let them after a good home interview. Kirsten and Sally were now the parents of a baby boy, who they named [[Fanon:Tristan Straight|Tristan Straight]].
Later on, Tristan had turned 12. Around this time, Kirsten and Sally gained a reputation for being eternally faithful to each other, due to the strong foundation of their marriage. They decided they were ready to have another child. They then adopted a baby girl, named Jeanette.
