They often came over for birthdays or holidays and saw their younger set of grandkids grow up to teenagers and their granddaughter Susie get married and have their first great-grandson, [[Fanon:Riley Chelsea-Dennis|Riley]].
Soon, Gordon was really close to the end of his life, so Grace and Chelsea took Riley to come see Gordon and Gloria for their last few days so they could meet and get to know their great-grandson. On that day, Gloria witnesses Gordon's death and is heartbroken. Luckily, Susie and Grace were there to comfort her. They held the funeral for Gordon one day after his death. Two days after his death, Gloria died of old age.
