Grace Glenn (née Joy) is a Sim who resides in Riverview.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Infancy and Toddlerhood[edit | edit source]

Not much is known about her earliest years. She was born to Jenny and Norman Joy, who raised her and taught her all three toddler skills.

Childhood[edit | edit source]

As a child, she would help her mother out in the field, and loved gardening with her. Her father would work on cars with her as well. She wasn't too focused on school and finished with a C grade.

Adolescence[edit | edit source]

As a child, her mother unexpectedly got pregnant and gave birth to Elaine. Gloria became more family-oriented and began taking care of her infant sister while her parents worked. She taught Elaine all her toddler skills and noticed that she had a good way with children, which made her want to have her own children. But the guys at school were not into her, so she never dated during her teen years. She finished high school with a B.

Young Adulthood[edit | edit source]

Gloria was set up on a blind date with a guy named Gordon. They ended up being very compatible. They entered a relationship and later got married. Gordon worked in many jobs and Gloria worked as a part time job. They bought a big yellow house in the outskirts of Riverview to begin their family. Gloria knew she wanted kids but not too many. They had Grace and later had George.

Adulthood[edit | edit source]

Gordon had been bringing in a lot of money and Gloria had the opportunity to quit her job and become a full time mom and become a gardener at home. When her mom was getting old and frail, she let her move in, so she could stay and get to know her grandchildren before she dies. When she did die, they held a funeral for her.

As Grace became a teen, she became a bit distant from her mom. They talked to each other so little due to Grace working at her part time job at the bookstore and Gloria always in the garden. She became very sad due to this. After Grace became a Young Adult and Bryce died with Grace was pregnant, Gloria let her daughter live in her home for a while longer until they could move out. She loved playing with her new grandchildren.

George graduated high school and went to college later. He ended up getting a perfect GPA in the Science and Medicine major. Gloria felt very proud for him. He could get a leg up in the Scientist career up to level 4 and had a large paycheck.

Elderhood[edit | edit source]

The day Gordon and Gloria turned to Elders, Gordon retired from his career. Grace, Greg, George, Michelle, and Chelsea moved out to a different house so Gloria and Gordon could enjoy their retirement in peace and quiet.

Gordon and Gloria both saw Grace and Greg's divorce, and later get married to Arthur Dean, then having three new kids with him, Sawyer, Colby, and Ashli. They often came over for birthdays or holidays and saw their younger set of grandkids grow up to teenagers and their granddaughter Susie get married and have their first great-grandson, Riley.

Soon, Gordon was really close to the end of his life, so Grace and Chelsea took Riley to come see Gordon and Gloria for their last few days so they could meet and get to know their great-grandson. On that day, Gloria witnesses Gordon's death and is heartbroken. Luckily, Susie and Grace were there to comfort her. They held the funeral for Gordon one day after his death. Two days after his death, Gloria died of old age.
