He lives with his parents, [[Tom Shallow|Tom]] and [[June Shallow]], his sister [[MaryKay Shallow|MaryKay]], and his grandfather [[Kurt Shallow|Kurt]]. Dallas may not be fond of his family, as it is stated in the family description that love does not keep their family together and he starts the game only as acquaintances with all of them. He, unlike his sister, has friends at his age. He is the friend of most teens in the neighborhood except [[Laurel Grisby]], whom he dislikes. He is friends with [[Bob Newbie]] and [[Betty Newbie|Betty Simovich]]. He is also acquainted with [[Maximus McDermott]] and [[Trigger Broke]]. His biography states that while Dallas is a very charming teenager, he mainly uses his charm to gain trust with his lovers only to steal their stuff as trophies of his romantic conquests.
