In addition, the genre isn't fantasy like the original, and there's no connection between the names of the authors, being ''Guy le France'' in the game.

**Also, the allusion wasn't carried over into the translations of the game, at least the Dutch and the German one.

*A downloadable item in the ''Sims 3 Store has'' a cube-shaped table lamp called "The Comrade Cube". The look of the item and a part of its description - ''"Please note, we'd like to take a moment to remind you that the Comrade Cube cannot, and will not, speak"'' - are both references to the weighted Companion Cube from Valve's'' Portal'' series where GLaDOS constantly reminds the player that the weighted companion cube cannot speak.
