▲In the console version, the residents are [[Red S. Hirt]], [[Billy Specter]], [[Sheila Deadbones]], and [[Helga Mandrake]]. Also, it is the last place most Sims want to be in. For instance, there is no kitchen, no toilet, and also you have to waste your money on those items. But you can redecorate it.
The lot is covered by desert, and there is a graveyard where three of the four pre-made Sims are buried. It has the appearance of an old movie set with some props. There's Façades that suggest what some of the buildings used to be. Such as a bank, a saloon, a store, and a hotel. The banks are just props, but the saloon does have a bar and some slot machines, there's also an empty room presumably to be a bathroom. The hotel has two empty bedrooms, a living room with a piano and chair, and a bathroom with just a tub.
==Goals==
The main goal at Sunset Canyon is to help [[Red S. Hirt|Red S.]] reconnect with his deceased girlfriend [[Helga Mandrake|Helga]]. The player's Sim will have their own set of [[Game_guide:The_Sims_2_(console)_walkthrough#Sunset Canyon|'''Gold Wants''']] to complete, as will Red S. and Billy.
Upon completing the final goal here, [[Tranquility Falls]] will be unlocked. The player can move there by using the taxi Call Box at the edge of the lot, near the road. Completing Billy's gold wants is not required to move on, but it does unlock the bonus location [[The Orbit Room]].
Deleting the gravestones is not recommended, as the game then cannot be completed.
