In The Sims 3: University Life they added the Apartment lot assignment. (at least I think it was UI) But so far this page hasn't been updated to include information for Sims 3 Apartments. I request someone to add new info for the page. "Apartment buildings can be placed in the base neighborhood, downtowns, and business districts, but cannot be placed or made in colleges or vacation destinations." I am not sure about this statement because I remember placing an apartment in one of my colleges. I don't think that it was a result of any mods.
