Callbox necessity

Someone can verify before I do testing myself to clarify interesting included trivial bits that:

  • Whether callbox are necessary or optional for penthouses?
  • What floors (or all) are inaccessible through the elevator with the callbox present, and whether this behaviour is penthouse-exclusive (for a similar built lot that isn't a shell, my Sim apparently can use the elevator but I can't tell If such condition is based on residents relationship with active Sim)
  • Can callbox be fully utilize in base camp (and any other community lot that allows Sim to reside)?
