Fame

First off, I didn't include the charisma challenge because I did not know about it. That being said, it currently states that completing the opportunity will provide Celebrity status... I assume this status is different from the Fame that I am referring to in Superstar i.e. Super-stardom. Please elaborate if you know. LostInRiverview 13:44, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Wikis are collaborative, so it's okay if you don't know something. I actually don't know much of either which is why I didn't move it out of the "Non-Recurring Themes" section. However there does seem to be similarities as mentioned at Fan. --a_morris (talk) 14:45, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
I've had experience with Superstar-type stardom in TS1 but have yet to achieve Sims 3 fame. If anything, I'd say that the overall theme of The Sims: Superstar is fame and glamor, the fame in The Sims 3 seems to just be a minor feature in an expansive game. But, by that notion, things like cars (nightlife) or parties (house party) should be considered game themes as well, since they were eventually incorporated into the base game. So, in other words, I guess it all depends on whether the Fame in Superstar is repeated in The Sims 3, which I have not yet experienced so I cannot judge. LostInRiverview 14:10, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
Follow-up: It might just be better to not distinguish between repeating and non-repeating themes, and instead just list all the themes and whether they exist in more than one game. Thoughts? LostInRiverview 14:13, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
