Sims in The Sims 2 finishing food they can't make

I have seen this. I had a child grow into a teen while the nanny was there. The nanny was preparing a meal, and kept at it because I use "noagingswarm". I had the new teen fire the no-longer-needed nanny, and then Resume Cooking the meal. It turned out to the cheesecake, which the teen did not have the skill to make. However, it still turned out OK. Yes, she did. The preparation had gotten to the point where the next step was to put the cheesecake in the oven. That may be why she was able to finish making it, but I'm not sure. Dharden (talk) 04:57, December 19, 2011 (UTC)

Nah. In my theory, Sims can prepare ANY food. Food is just not available in from the fridge with Sims with low skill. So I guess skill only unlocks the choice in the fridge and lowers the possibility to burn the food. Nikel talk

Could be. Normally, if a Sim gets interrupted while preparing a meal, I have the same Sim go back to it, so the issue doesn't arise. That wasn't practical in this case. It might be worth doing some checking on this. Dharden (talk) 06:11, December 19, 2011 (UTC)

Food List

The food list in the TS3 section is redundant, consider it is already listed in Cooking (The Sims 3). I suggest we only keep:

• Some food that is not a part of Cooking Skill (Quick Meal, Food order at the bar, TS3 Season Kiosk Food, Ice Cream Truck, Vending Machine, ...)

• Special food (Ambrosia, the mention of Vegetarian Food but not the list of them)

• Food that is a part of a special item (Toy Oven, TS3 Store items, ...)

I don't suggest to have a list of foods for all of them, but they are the potential ones to keep and to be mentioned.

There should also be a drinking page. Currently, it redirects to Mixology, but there are more drinks then the Mixology (the Nectar, TS4 Backyard Lemonade). Xyclone010 (talk) 04:51, December 9, 2018 (UTC)
