Spirit Positioning Device[edit source]
So What Exactly Does The "Spirit Positioning Device" Do? 188.8.131.52 14:53, July 12, 2010 (UTC)
- I assume it is a device that tells you the position (location) of a spirit. Freedom50000 01:36, June 18, 2012 (UTC)
If there is a ghost on yor lot, or if you have the Haunting Curse moodlet thingy on you, can you call the ghost hunters to get rid of the ghost?Hurshbr (talk) 19:18, February 21, 2013 (UTC)Hurshbr
- I doubt, because Ghost Hunter is merely a career, and I don't think they can ever do any help with the ghost problems outside their career tasks. Although I don't really know if they actually have prominent on these... I've never tried, but I just doubt. Nikel Talk – Vote! 12:50, February 28, 2013 (UTC)
Ghostly Presence[edit source]
At the end of the trivia, indeed there is a bug where you can't see the ghosts you've uncovered. I struggled with this for a long time as well. A while ago, I installed the Overwatch mod. Now my lagspikes are gone and it also fixed the Ghosty Presence bug ^^ Hope this can be of some help to somebody with the same issues :D - SharkBait409
Added sources/appearances[edit source]
I remember when I decided to release a spirit once to see what would happen, I went to the graveyard in Sunset Valley assuming it would be some kind of transcendal thing. The spirit then used that dialogue mentioned in the page saying it would move in with Annabelle, saying there should be space for two. I then looked around the graveyard and found a tombstone belonging to an "Annabelle Oinkslopes". I'm assuming this is what the spirit means, and the name isn't actually randomly generated but a reference to a deceased sim's grave. It could of course still be random, as only the first name was mentioned, but I'll look into replicating the results and seeing if that's the case, because it makes sense.
