Was playing around with Generations tonight. The main page doesn't sound very clear, so I'm rephrasing here: YES, A GHOST + IMAGINARY FRIEND = GHOST-FRIEND HYBRID. My testing isn't 100% fair, though, to be honest with you. I had an electric (yellow) ghost with an imaginary friend who I made real, then killed through drowning (blue ghost) and she retained her ability to become a toy. When they got married and had a baby, their baby girl was also a drowned (blue) ghost with the ability to become a toy.Traestone03:34, July 23, 2011 (UTC) Can sims be Vampires & Werewolves at the same time?

I think so. I'll try it out next time I play the sims. --Ryan A. Taylor 11:33, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

Is it possible to have a Werewolf Alien or something like that? Maybe an Alien PlantSim? NOT A USER NOT EVEN AN OWNER OF A SIM GAME

Grim reaper hybrids[edit source]

Please merge the individual article into the section at the bottom. --Mr montmorency 20:33, October 28, 2009 (UTC)

Sim-Bot[edit source]

How do you actually get sim-bot ghosts? It just shorts out when I try to kill it. Guffers 19:12, June 16, 2010 (UTC)

As I understand it, SimBots have a finite lifespan, and will die when they reach the end of it. I don't know if they can die from any other cause, though I suspect that being hit by a meteor would not be good for them. Dharden 13:12, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

SimBot-Ghost[edit source]

Is that a picture of a SimBot-Ghost hybrid, or of the ghost of a SimBot? Dharden 13:07, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

Probably a picture of a ghost of a SimBot, I do not think it's possible to have hybrids in The Sims 3. --Guilherme Guerreiro (talk here) 11:00, June 2, 2011 (UTC)

SimBot-Mummy[edit source]

Is it possible to make a SimBot-Mummy? If so, it should be in the article. Manga Maniac 17:15, October 29, 2010 (UTC)

How come we have not done it yet! Xxgreenbunnyxx 17:06, August 6, 2011 (UTC)

Genie hybrids?[edit source]

Since Showtime's been out for nearly a month now, it might be worth adding a section for Genie hybrids. I haven't tried making any yet myself, but given that normal sims can interbreed with them I assume hybrids of some sort would be possible. Genie/ghost certainly exists since everything can die, I've seen an attempt by somebody else to create a sim with both vampire and genie parents (although I don't think that particular one inherited both traits due to the 50% chance for both) and I don't see why Imaginary Friend/Genie wouldn't work. (Anyone who can confirm this, post an example here) MinghamSmith 08:09, April 2, 2012 (UTC)

Most Complex Hybrid?[edit source]

What about a freed genie and an imaginary friend who is turned real have a child together, then the child becomes a vampire, then the child turns into a mummy, and then the child dies and becomes a ghost?Ziebro 17:18, April 9, 2012 (UTC)

That makes me wonder... are imaginary friend and genie genes hereditary? Will they produce similar species just like vampires? Nikel Talk 12:16, April 25, 2012 (UTC)

Vampire Genie[edit source]

I think this is an amazing hybrid, but I'd like confirmation on their powers before adding it to the article.

From my experience, they always retain the genie idles and have a 50/50 chance of getting either genie or MISC. powers. They never seem to exhibit straight vampire powers, though the MISC powers incluse most noticably an accelerated skill learning which for example allows nearly any 'training' based skill (athletic, music, writing) to be maxed out within a day with ease (usually within hours). They DO seem to produce wishes to retreat indoors when it is light outside, but thus far I've seen no sundamage on them.145.100.125.133 (talk) 14:03, June 18, 2012 (UTC)

Genie/Vampire Glitchyness[edit source]

Has this happened to anyone else? my sim (Anna Marie) has a Vampire mom and a Genie father. When she was a toddler, she had Vampy eyes, and bit her stuffed animals, all Vampirey. But when she grew to be a child, she lost the glowing eyes, and instead had Genie idles, but no powers, and she still had the red border around her relationship picture. As a teen, she could do the super-fast vampire run, and still had Genie idles, but no paleness or glowy eyes. When Anna Marie was a Young Adult, she looked like a normal Sim, burned in the sun, ran fast, and had Genie idles. I bought the Vampirisim-B-Gone from the Science Lab, and when she used it, she looked the same as before, but now had all Genie powers! VERY long story short, I think that the Genie hidden trait and the Vampire hidden trait are somehow incompatable, and the Sim can only display one set of powers at once. Any way to fix this?

Partial Hybrids[edit source]

I'm not sure if these want to be counted but I have created some partial hybrids using genetics and CAS. First one was partial witches by taking any of the Vampire, Fae, or Werewolf that had already been added to a house and editing them again in CAS and switching them to witch. This gives them some witch interactions. I tried doing the same with others but found out it takes an extra step. The example I tried was Fae/Werewolf. I had a fairy and a werewolf have children. If the child was wolf I went into CAS and switched them to fairy. They then have some fairy interactions. Visa versa with the fairy children and giving them some werewold interactions. My guess is that they need to inherit the hidden traits for this to work. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.68.47.57 (talkcontribs) (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

I wouldn't be so sure with that method. Turning Sim into an occult through editing in CAS cheat has never been right to begin with. I tried to turn my normal Sim into a fairy before, but he didn't completely turn into a fairy. Nikel Talk Vote! 12:12, January 9, 2013 (UTC)

Fairy/werewolf?[edit source]

Has anyone tested the fairy-werewolf, that is created through breeding a fairy and a wolf? Because I am very interested in whether this possible to create a sim with fairy wings that also transforms into a werewolf.

Hey, couldn't almost every life state become a zombie hybrid by drinking the permanent zombie potion? Hurshbr (talk) 00:52, April 13, 2013 (UTC)Hurshbr

Actually, this article has been cluttered enough. Incomplete lists and made-up hybrids. I mean, there are 13 life states in The Sims 3 now, and there's at very least 78 possible mix of 2-state hybrids and 286 for 3-state hybrids. I personally can't even tell how one can be unique from another. Nikel Talk Vote! 16:11, April 13, 2013 (UTC)

Adding Mannequin hybrids to the page[edit source]

I'm thinking of adding information regarding Mannequin Sim hybrids to the page, once I've revised what each Mannequin hybrid looks like. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 08:29, March 31, 2015 (UTC)

Sims 4 Vampire-Sim hybrids[edit source]

I can't understand what Vampire-Sim hybrids suppose to mean? Are there "pure" vampires in the game? Are those vampire NPCs like Vladislaus Straud? Because all playable sims turned into vampires are essentially hybrids, as far as I understand. Faust-RSI (talk) 09:10, March 5, 2018 (UTC)
