:In theory, this is pretty likely because jaguar is considered a cat. I never tried it though, but I suppose it's worth trying. This is from the Hyena article:
The hyena skin from The Sims Castaway Stories can be imported to The Sims 2 (if the Pets expansion is installed) or The Sims Pet Stories. Copy the hyena skin from the PetBreeds folder for The Sims Castaway Stories and paste it into the PetBreeds folder for The Sims 2 or The Sims Pet Stories. In all three games, the PetBreeds folder is located under the (My) Documents\EA Games\(name of game) folder.
