:If memory can prove it, then it's good. There's hardly any memories of playable Sims about their grandparents, however. But IMO, it's safe to assume that ancestors that never appear are dead. Pidgeoraptor7's edits[edit source]

I've noticed that Pidgeoraptor7 has been changing the life state from "Sim" to "Ghost" for some pages (including Melinda Danders), but I don't think it's correct since some of the sims have no character data, and no graves, so they are not ghosts.
