Replacing exist images

When replacing existing images, it would be much better if you used the "Upload a new version of this file" link (found in the "File History" tab) instead of uploading an entirely new image. This way we can avoid clutter created by duplicate or redundant images. When you upload a new version, previous versions of the file are not lost - they are still stored in the file history and can be reverted to if needed.

Also, if you can, try to upload files in PNG format, instead of JPG (or JPEG), as PNG is generally of higher quality, and doesn't drop file quality when compressed, which JPG files do to save space. I know the rollback tool is brand-new to you, but I do need to inform you that your use of rollback here is probably not appropriate. Rollback is a tool that allows you to speedily revert obvious vandalism and its use should be limited to that purpose or for other similar purposes. In the case of the page I linked to, while the category certainly does not belong, its inclusion in the article doesn't represent obvious vandalism, as the category could simply have been added by mistake. The proper course in this case would be to either manually remove the category, manually revert or use the undo tool. Using rollback does not allow you to add an edit summary, so it's assumed that rollbacks are only performed on vandalism or in limited circumstances.

Rollback

Congratulations on your successful nomination for rollback! Thought I might give you a short introduction on the rollback tool.

Rollback is a feature of the MediaWiki software that runs many websites, namely Wikipedia and Wikia. It allows all consecutive edits made by one user to be undone in one click.

What rollback does. Rollback only works on the latest edit (current revision) in an article. If you click on rollback, it acts immediately. Instructing the server to perform rollback will revert all consecutive edits made by one user to the last revision not made by that user. For instance, if User A made 6 edits in a row to The Sims 2, and no one else edited after them, using rollback will revert all 6 of those edits to the last edit not made by User A.

When to use it. Because rollback does not allow for a custom edit summary, it should only be used for obvious vandalism. It should not be used to revert good faith edits or edits that have good intentions. If a good faith edit needs to be reverted, use the undo function or manually revert the edit and provide an explanation in the edit summary.

You can use rollback to:

• Revert obvious vandalism
• Revert your own edits (AKA self-reverting)
• Revert edits in your own userspace (e.g. your userpage or your user talk page)
• Revert a large amount of edits that are deemed unhelpful, such as a malfunctioning bot, as long as an explanation is posted somewhere, perhaps at the talk page of the bot.

What if I accidentally click it? It happens, because rollback works instantly. If you do accidentally rollback an edit you didn't intend to revert, just manually revert the edit and explain it was a mistake.

What else do I do after reverting vandalism? It's not strictly required, but it would be appropriate to warn the vandal on their user talk page. You can either use a hand-written warning or, now that you are a rollbacker, you can use the pre-made warning templates.

I guess because they had to choose one zodiac sign to represent the Sims with blank personalities, and the Sims with five points in all areas of their personalities. Signatures, Userboxes and Page Management

Excuse me, but I need a lot of help with my user page. Actually, I'm not signed in yet, but I would like help to manage my page - profiles, talk pages, blogs and contribuations. These are the things I'd love for you to explain:

• Sections on your page - the About Me, As a Sim, Userboxes and My Username Signature. I admire these, it makes your page so organized. Please can you explain how to get the About Me, As a Sim, Userboxes and My Username Signature sections.
• Username signature - How do you do this? I wish I can get a signature. Do you have to be high up, like an admin or well known person at this Wikia to get one? Please explain!
• Welcome! on talk page - It's similar to the sections, but I'm not sure. EXPLAIN.

Regarding questions to Starmoonie

Regarding the moving of family and keeping relationship, if talking strictly TS3, then yes and no. TS3 families lose relationships to others when they are ported into the library, but will keep relationships between themselves. However, NRaas porter can circumvent that issue with multiple families and interfamilial relationships. As for the original appearance photos, do you mean the screenshots such as that in Nadia Saint? If that's the case, S3PE or SimsPE depending on the TS you're using should do the trick. Refer here.
