Outgoing Sims randomly coming in?

"It's been realized that the Outgoing Sims randomly come into Sims' houses for a visit, even if they don't know any Sims on that lot." What games and/or expansions does this happen in? Dharden (talk) 22:07, May 24, 2013 (UTC)

How do we even know if they're outgoing...? Nikel Talk Vote! 14:57, May 28, 2013 (UTC)

While I disregard how outgoing they are, I have noticed that happen with the base game. But I've always addressed this as being a potential glitch. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 05:49, June 26, 2014 (UTC)

Sims 2 Grouchy/Nice Scale

By the looks of things, Sims with zero or one nice point are pure irritating and grouchy. Those with two or three nice points tend to bully alot. Those with four nice points are a little bit on the grouchy side while Sims with five nice points are a little bit on the nice side. Sims with six or seven nice points are moderately nice and Sims with eight, nine or ten nice points tend to be very nice. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 17:16, December 20, 2013 (UTC)

Changing personalities

So far, I've seen no evidence that a Sim's Personality can change in The Sims 2 without the use of Cheats such as BoolProp testingcheatsenabled, the Sim Modder or with SimPE. Unless you give them potions such as Enchanted Essence of Cur Tails and Magically Spiced Sugar, both of which only last three Sim hours. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 06:21, June 26, 2014 (UTC)

The Encourage interaction does change personality, it just does it so gradually that even a 1-point change requires multiple uses. I have boosted a Sim's Neat score from 0 to 4, but it took repeated Encouragement throughout the child stage and into the teen stage, and was only possible because the Encouraging parent had a high enough Neat score. Dharden (talk) 13:07, June 26, 2014 (UTC)

Okay, well I've never seen it happen. A couple of times I did try to use the "Encourage" interaction, but I stopped using it afterwards, as I had no value to continue using it. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 04:05, June 27, 2014 (UTC)

Teasing

I've noticed a difference in the Sims 2 with the gestures Sims perform when they tease another Sim.

  1. Pointing at the target Sim and laughing.
  2. Putting their hands to their ears and pulling a face at the target Sim.
  3. Putting their hands on their stomach while laughing at the target Sim.

I think the first one is usually done by Sims who aren't very nice, or don't have a positive daily relationship with the target Sim. I think the second one is usually done by Sims who are playful and / or nice. And I think the third one is normally done by Sims who are jealous and / or cross with the target Sim. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 06:21, June 26, 2014 (UTC)
