Household Sim Limits and Pets[edit source]
I was wondering, do pets count towards the 8 sim limit in households? In a family I am currently playing, I do intend on two sims marrying. I would like for them to have a baby, but I realised that wouldn't be possible since they have a horse, making it 8 controllable members in the household. The horse was not adopted. I made him in CAS, then merged him with the active household.
A friend of mine plays sims a lot too, and mentioned that she had 8 active sims in a household, and was still able to make them adopt a pet. I have seen her household, and know she isn't lying. I don't know if she has used mods or cheats to achieve this.
I would like to have 8 sims and still have the horse in the house, without using cheats or mods. Is this at all possible? WayfinderOwl (talk) 07:29, May 16, 2014 (UTC)
You can have a maximum number of 8 Sims and maximum of 6 pets. And in a maximum of household is 10. However, snakes, hamsters and other little animals are not counted. My friend told me this. ThePeculiarMe | (talk to me) 7:48, May 16, 2014 (UTC)
