I don't understand the trivia at all. How come he's the employee of the Tinkers if they don't have any businesses at all? And I was sure enough he was the employee of Malcolm Landgraab IV... Nikel Talk – Vote! 03:34, January 3, 2014 (UTC)
- I don't understand either. I was also sure he was the employee of Malcolm Landgraab IV. But that's what the game files said - him working for the Tinker family. Normally when I play the Sims 2, he is employed by Malcolm. However I have recently viewed the package files on a different computer, and when the game started he was working for Checoleín and Lisa Ramirez. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 03:46, January 3, 2014 (UTC)
- I think you're a little confused. He has relationships with the Tinkers, but the game files point out that he's working for Ramirez (not Landgraab, I got that wrong. It's Toby Couderc who works for Malcolm.). Nikel Talk – Vote! 04:01, January 3, 2014 (UTC)
- We got that wrong. I was the one who wrote that Malcolm Landgraab IV was acquaintances with Ray Bui. But where in the game files does it tell you that he is employed by Checoleín and Lisa? Also I do remember Ray Bui working for Malcolm at one point when playing the game. I'll check to see who he works for in each of my neighbourhoods. - Eh, I guess you're right. I thought he worked for Malcolm since you put him on Malcolm's relationship table. To see what business a Sim is employed in, open the Sim file with the Sim browser, click the Business button, and look at the code in the "business lot". It would be 0011. Then navigate the Lot Description (LTXT) resources, and find the lot with 0x00000011 instance. The lot would be "Ramirez's Fine Furniture".
