Outside of North America, the [[Wikipedia:Nissan Pathfinder|Nissan Pathfinder]] is widely known as the Nissan Terrano, so the name may also be a nod to [[Wikipedia:Ford Prefect (character)|Ford Prefect]]. Yes, it's highly speculative, which is why I didn't put it in the article, but given some of the other names Maxis came up with, I can see it as a Maxis in-joke.
