This article claims that Stella is a pure alien, however she has round ears. To my best understanding, pure aliens all have pointed ears- just look at all the Pollination Technicians, Colony Drones, and Birth Queens. I believe that she is a hybrid, but Maxis did not include parents for the same reasons that they did not include parents for any of the other Uni sims. Anybody else agree? M. H. - Stella is obviously pre created, like all the other college students. EA is giving the impression that Stella is half human, half alien, as she gives the impression she is an alien with her facial features but her hair, dress sense and possible personality - and ears - are human. Unless a glitch while making Stella occured erasing her family?, Stella could have descendants that are human and some alien or she could be just a pre created alien/sim.

- It's conceivable that the few aliens who choose to live among Simkind are first given some hybrid characteristics, such as hair and the ability to impregnate/be impregnated by normal Sims. Maybe they get their ears rounded as well. Dharden 15:53, December 14, 2009 (UTC)
Trivia[edit source]
Outside of North America, the Nissan Pathfinder is widely known as the Nissan Terrano, so the name may also be a nod to Ford Prefect. Yes, it's highly speculative, which is why I didn't put it in the article, but given some of the other names Maxis came up with, I can see it as a Maxis in-joke.
