I have played this EP and have the option with friends to ask their gender preference. Many instances of threads regarding the new gender preferences (as existed in The Sims 2) are at the Forums at [http://www.thesims3.com www.thesims3.com]. For personal confirmation however, again, I am currently playing this EP and my sim can ask other sims as a social option, what their gender preference is, as well as their Alma Mater and as with Sims 2: University, all Adult Sims that you create have a default High School Diploma in their inventory which can be put on the wall.
