Pauline is not closely related, right?

Patricia Wan seems to be the first Wan in her bloodline to have an anglicized name. Like she ended up in Riverblossom Hills when she was a late teenager or early adult and anglicized her first name. I actually think they're just cousins but distant ones as Pauline seems to be younger than Patricia's parents.
