Tank Grunt is the eldest son of General Buzz Grunt and Lyla Grunt. He is the older brother of Ripp Grunt and Buck Grunt, both of whom he's distant from.

He would like to be like his father some day; Tank follows his footsteps, wanting a job in the Military career to impress General Buzz, and they have a good relationship. Tank's also part of the feud against the Smith Family; he's enemies with Johnny Smith and wants to win a fight with him.
