When the site was in its prime, there were regular chats with people from Maxis; the old chat transcripts were archived. There was also a fansite directory, which was primarily of archival/reference interest, though some listed sites were still available at the time the site was taken down.
As of August 20, 2010, the site was no longer available. For a while, direct links to tools still appeared to work, and the forum (BBS) could still be accessed and read via a direct link.
