* ''The Sims 3'', its expansions and stuff packs are no longer able to be purchased in retail stores in most countries such as Australia due to physical copies being discontinued. However, some console versions of ''The Sims 3'' can be purchased in some retail stores, such as EB Games or Game and all packs can be purchased on Origin or Steam. Additionally, physical copies can still be purchased at second-hand stores such as charity stores, pawnbrokers or any store that sells second-hand video games as well as being available to purchase on online shopping sites such as eBay, Amazon or Facebook Marketplace. As well as this, all ''The Sims 3'' games are available for purchase from Origin and Steam, excluding ''[[The Sims 3: Katy Perry's Sweet Treats]]''.
