Votes for Aspiration Edit

  1. I'm just voting for this because nobody else is. :P --Ohai thar, I'm Sumaes01. You can talk to me here or blog on my blogs here. 22:16, November 3, 2011 (UTC)
  2. Aspirations were a lot better imo. They allowed Sims to actually have something they constantly care and think about. Traits weren't really as good as they could've been. —Random Ranaun (Talk to me!) 04:44, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
  3. ASPIRATIONS!!! They give your Sims long term direction and purpose for their whole lives. Traits are so goofy and pointless and make such little difference to gameplay, and with Moodlets all your sims care about is what's going on right at that second, rather than which paths they'll take for the rest of their lives.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.162.45.236 (talkcontribs) (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

Votes for Trait Edit

  1. I know I'm a TS2 player, but I couldn't lie that traits make Sims more colorful. If you know what I mean... Nikel Talk 10:52, November 3, 2011 (UTC)

  3. More? Better!I AM FABULOUS! 12:09, November 3, 2011 (UTC)
  4. Wir.wiryawan 12:40, November 3, 2011 (UTC)
  5. I think trait may make the Sims more accurate for what their creator 'wants' them to be. *~_Vivi_~* 15:44, November 3, 2011 (UTC)
  6. --Cabecote 16:10, November 3, 2011 (UTC)
  7. Despite how much I have stressed that I prefer The Sims 2, I do feel that the traits give more personality. Lost Labyrinth   (c)(b) 18:03, November 3, 2011 (UTC)
  8. Even I play The Sims 2, I think traits are more real because we all have traits but only some of us have an aspiration in life. ♦♦♦OnlyPlayTheSimsGames♦♦♦ 20:06, November 3, 2011 (UTC)
  9. Traits are definitely better when it comes down to gameplay. --TDIFan13 (My Talk and My Contributions!) 00:04, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
  10. I liked Aspirations, but they could make a Sim have a one-track mind. Traits make Sims seem if they actually think about something else rather than just one thing. Button966 at 11:59, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
  11. I'm going with traits --112.203.14.170 (talk) 14:08, November 5, 2011 (UTC)
  12. I prefer traits. (Sorry, TS2. I still like you too!) :P Beatrice Monty 14:48, November 5, 2011 (UTC)

  15. Traits make sims more different and unique one from another. Alex9400 | Feel free to TALK with me.♦³ :-) 19:18, November 6, 2011 (UTC)
  16. Traits. They make your Sims so much...Different, and each Sim gets their own set of social interactions because of their traits. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dorogorono (talkcontribs) (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~
  17. Aspirations are limited to only one choice, while you can have up to five traits, which gives you more variations and unique combinations for each Sim. A19. 19:14, November 7, 2011 (UTC)
  18. Traits allow more customization to your sims User:HiddenSimSecretsHiddenSimSecrets 00:51, November 9, 2011 (UTC)
  19. Though I have never played The Sims 3, I feel like there are much more gameplay options with traits than aspirations, with which you can have aspiration desperations which can be very annoying. Vss2eiptalk here 21:42, November 9, 2011 (UTC)
  20. Traits make different sims unique, aspirations didn't really change the way sims interracted with each other. But I admit, they should make a greater difference, and there should be more traits to choose from. MariaDark 14:25, November 10, 2011 (UTC)
  21. Traits are better because aspirations repeated and were general. With traits, it is designed specifically for your Sim and the wishes in Sims 3 are optional. Wishes in Sims 2 were mandatory unless you cheated, which upset me. User:Bbqpizzayo!19:38, November 13, 2011 (UTC)

Comments Edit

  • I have a feeling that Traits are going to win by a landslide...--90.214.99.155 (talk) 20:35, November 3, 2011 (UTC)
    • You know, I kinda feel that recent battles have been like that. Nikel Talk 14:25, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
      • I think that it's because the last 2 battles have been between something and something newer, and the newer thing always wins! I think the next battle should be between two things from the same game/EP... Omri577
        • "New is always better." - Barney Stinson Alex9400 | Feel free to TALK with me.♦³ :-) 09:51, November 11, 2011 (UTC)
          • Not true. I like traditions. And BTW, it doesn't always happen, like in Battle 13 and Battle 19. Nikel Talk 10:04, November 11, 2011 (UTC)
  • Traits are winning? I don't want to live on this planet anymore. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.162.45.236 (talkcontribs) (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~
    • Duh, you're overreacting. :p Nikel Talk 09:39, November 11, 2011 (UTC)
  • I don't understand how some people can vote when they are saying that they haven't even played the game? Yes, you can know the basics about it but unless you have experienced the full gameplay, you can't really vote on a major element like this.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.191.153.119 (talkcontribs) (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~
    • Fair point. Lost Labyrinth   (c)(b) 14:49, November 10, 2011 (UTC)
    • Well, we've heard a lot about either of these before... and especially from this wiki itself. Don't you think this wiki helpful? ^^ Nikel Talk 09:39, November 11, 2011 (UTC)
  • No need to wait until the time expired, can we just go to the result, announce the winner, and start another battle... lol Wir.wiryawan 15:57, November 12, 2011 (UTC)
    • Should stick with formality. XD Nikel Talk 16:14, November 12, 2011 (UTC)
  • It's just too hard.I hope in sims 4 they have both aspirations and traits -- JAZ (Chat) 16:48, November 12, 2011 (UTC)
  • Can't really say, since I only had limited experience with Sims 1 and none with Sims 2. However, I am very pleased with Traits, that's for sure. Mathetesalexandrou 00:31, November 15, 2011 (UTC)
