Page(s) for deletion: New Buckington

Any member of the wiki may participate in a deletion discussion. Comments during discussion should focus on why the article should or should not be deleted, merged, or modified. Users should explain their reasoning sufficiently. Deletion discussions are not votes; strength of argument matters more than the number of people in favor or opposed to deletion.

Nomination Edit

The main namespace, which this article is currently in, does not include any custom neighborhoods. That would be handled by the fanon namespace. However, it seems that true creator of this neighborhood, 'Shake', doesn't seem to edit on the wiki, and if has, currently does not at the moment. The creator of this article, Alex997, also has last edited on the wiki in September 2010 so it's pretty much safe to be deleted. In the fanon namespace the article would most likely just become a stub that would get deleted anyways. - SimDestroyer (talk) 18:27, April 2, 2019 (UTC)

  • Delete Non-notable custom content from a now-defunct blog. It doesn't appear to be available for public download, which would almost immediately discount it from being included as a custom content article. In the fanon namespace it would probably count as a stub article and would not survive deletion there either. The creator of the page has been inactive for over 8 years, so I don't see them coming to expand the page anytime soon. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 19:29, April 2, 2019 (UTC)
  • Delete as per The Sims Wiki:Notability Policy#Prohibited Content - "The following types of pages either are not relevant or present other issues which necessitate limiting their creation... Pages about player-created custom content (not including game modifications), such as custom neighborhoods, downloadable families, etc." The author is long-gone, so there's no sense in moving it to Fanon. - LostInRiverview talk · blog · contribs 00:51, April 3, 2019 (UTC)
