The project aims primarily to:
- provide guidelines and recommendations for articles that describe downloads and custom content for The Sims series
- improve The Sims Wiki's coverage of downloads and custom content by creating, expanding, and maintaining such articles
- serve as the central point of discussion for issues related to downloads and custom content on The Sims Wiki
