Can I join?[edit source]

Absolutely! We're especially in need of users with advanced wiki editing, javascript and web editing expertise, though this expertise is not required to give feedback (which is just as important, if not more so!). If you want to be kept especially in-the-loop and part of discussions regarding redesign goals, timetables, tasks and the general look of the new wiki, add your name to the table above, with a role of 'Feedback'

What are the jobs associated with this project?[edit source]

That's largely up for the project participants and the community to decide, but in general, the work for many will be extensive, and will stretch over many months. Each person will have their own 'jobs' (even if that job is just to provide feedback), and no person should be given more than they're able to handle, nor should one person be given all jobs. If you want to assist but are afraid of time constraints or being overburdened, please make such conditions known so that you can still participate.

When would all this possible work begin?[edit source]

First, the project must have enough participants to function. Once a good level has been reached, the project leaders will contact all the members and ask them to start brainstorming goals. Depending on other things happening as far as community discussion and consensus, the goals may need to change. However, once some good ground goals have been set, participants can then largely assume a working timetable and begin the project in earnest.

When will we be done?[edit source]

Gee, you're just full of questions aren't you? Depending on how the previous steps go, and depending on the timetable, the end period will vary. It's hard to say when the project will be 'over' per se, as it all depends on what happens before it. The project is not likely to be concluded by the end of January 2011 since some large amounts of work do need to be done, but when exactly it will finish, one could only guess.

Who's leading this project?[edit source]

Although the project has no "leader," it was started by LostInRiverview, so I suppose he (or rather, I) am the de facto 'leader.' That means nothing, though, as the members of the project itself should eventually take over leadership and decision-making for the entire endeavor.
