The project aims primarily to:
- provide guidelines and recommendations for articles that describe Sims
- improve The Sims Wiki's coverage of Sims by creating, expanding, and maintaining such articles
- serve as the central point of discussion for issues related to Sims on The Sims Wiki

- Topics needing expansion
- Townies, deceased Sims, and NPCs from expansion packs
- Appearances and images
- Check out wanted pages for articles that are needed for this project
- Articles needing improvement
- List of Sims
- Some Sims from The Sims or The Sims 3 only are still using Category:Bio templates and should be switched to {{Sim1}} and {{Sim3}}
- Add images to articles in
- Check out Category:Site maintenance for articles that have been tagged as needing improvement for this project
