== Traits page standardization == |
As Duskey said on Talk:List of Traits, there should be some standards for the Traits articles. Below is an example of the (rough) standard I've been using: |
<Image> Trait A is a <mental, physical, social, lifestyle> trait in <game>. <It conflicts with <Trait B> and is available at <age> (if this information is not available or not known by me, I leave it blank)> |
The in-game Trait description is here, italicized |
<Heading - Behaviors (again, not the best wording> |
*List of Trait attributes |
*Most are taken from in-game text |
<Heading - Related Skills (if applicable> |
*Skill (bolded if the skill is directly related to the moodlet) |
<Heading - Possible Lifetime Wishes (if applicable)> |
*Most of these are a stab in the dark |
<Heading -Sims with Trait A> |
Examples of <Trait A possessing> Sims: List of example Sims, linked to their articles. |
I've also been inserting, between the lifetime wish and example sims, a list of 1 or 2 related traits, though only in the last few articles I've made (Green Thumb, Loves The Outdoors). |
I've added each article to two categories... the first is the Traits category, the second is the category corresponding to the trait, example "Sims with Green Thumbs" or "Snobs". |
So...what do we want to adopt as a standard? LostInRiverview 07:39, June 13, 2010 (UTC) |

:Yes! Attributes that's the word we can use for the ingame text. I noticed A morris added "Unlocked interaction" to some traits which I like. I'm also quite prone to adding "Player notes" or something along those lines, though we could call that "Behaviours". Duskey 07:45, June 13, 2010 (UTC) |

::Agreed, I think 'Attributes' is a good word for both situations. The reason I've avoided using "unlocked interaction" is because it's sometimes hard to classify what is an interaction... maybe I'm splitting hairs. I like the idea of Player Notes - it can be put in when a player has a comment that wasn't part of the original in-game text. I'm going to buzz through the articles and change 'Behavior' to 'Attributes' where it exists. LostInRiverview 07:50, June 13, 2010 (UTC) |
