This is just a matter of procedure, but it really doesn't make sense to have a 'votes against' section, since the obvious way that a person can vote against something is by not voting for it at all. No. Our voting rules specifically prohibit that, and this in my opinion is considered an official vote, meaning that we should adhere to the voting rules. Additionally, it's absolutely not difficult for an anon user to register for an account, so there's no reason why they shouldn't have to register first. -- LostInRiverview ^{talk · blog} 16:42, December 10, 2010 (UTC)

Redo

I'm not necessarily suggesting this because I favor any logo over another, but I think we should remove all the currently-cast votes and restart this contest. My reasoning is that if we allow voting while ideas are being submitted, new ideas will have less of a chance of winning, even if they are 'better' than older suggestions. I'd propose that we remove all votes and prevent new votes from being cast until the next month, and allow logo submissions up until then. Has this contest finished?

I've noticed this contest started a few months ago, and no votes have been cast for some time as well as there being no confusion which logo is in the lead. Should this contest be closed, or will there be decided an official date of which it ends? --Bleeh^{(talk) (blog)} 03:17, April 2, 2011 (UTC)
