It appears to be a sculpture of a large lobster, posing a trident. P. Lovecraft\|H. P. Lovecraft]]'s mythos. Thoggus is a reference to Cthulhu, a giant squid-faced monster in the short story [[wikipedia:The Call of Cthulhu\|The Call of Cthulhu]], by H. P. Lovecraft. The trident Thoggus holds is often used as a symbol of the ruler of the sea.
