Tiberium growing.

Tiberium is a gem present once The Sims 3: World Adventures is installed.

About Tiberium

Tiberium is a very rare and often valuable gem. The ore itself is around §100, and getting it cut greatly increases the value of the gem. Whether it is a raw ore or cut, it will give a Sim a negative moodlet (-25 mood), so it is best kept away from a Sim's inventory.

No matter what form it is in, it will glow and make a soft "ping" when placed on lots.

Getting Tiberium

  • Buy it from relic stores, most likely from Egypt.
  • Break Space Rocks with a Board Breaker. Requires Level 9 of Martial Arts skill (7 for Disciplined Sims).
  • Exploring the mausoleum in the cemeteries.
  • Use the Miner (present in The Sims 3: Ambitions) to find it.
  • Put an assortment of gems and other objects on a Display Rack, making sure the price of ALL items combined makes §3500-5000, then perform the Irreversible Transfiguration. Doing so will give a small spire.

Cuts

Tiberium can get cut in to 2 different forms:

  • Small Spire Cut (§6500)
  • Heart-Shaped Cut (§1000)

Despite the cut given, Tiberium will grow into a Large Spire Cut within a day, giving it a value of §40,000 and higher.

Spreading

Tiberium can spread (like it does in the Command & Conquer series). The duplicated gem will act like an uncollected gem, so it must be picked up and put back down before it grows.

Trivia

  • Tiberium is present in the Command and Conquer series as a fictional substance that is central to much of the plot of the story. The Command and Conquer series was made by EA.
