Supernatural & Gem Dust[edit source]

When using a witch's ability to convert collectibles from one type to another, you can get raw Tiberium. When cut with the Gem cutting machine, there is a chance that you will get some Tiberium Gem Dust along with the cut gem (I got 6 dust, but the amount seems random). This Gem dust can grow into Large Spire Cut just like the normal cuts, meaning you can potentially get up to seven or more Large Spire Cut Tiberium gems from one ore. This should probably be noted in the article, but I'm not registered here, and I'm not familiar with your policies, so I figured I'd just note it here. 99.109.32.214 (talk) 20:02, September 12, 2012 (UTC)

Indeed? As for policies, you are entitled to edit constructively here. However, mentioning this is a good choice. As for the Gem Dust, I have edited there that the dust can turn into the large spire a few moments ago. However, You got 6 dust? I could never get more than 2. Methods to remove[edit source]

I've removed several methods in "Getting Tiberium" section with reasons:

  • Drilling with miner and investigating a drill hole have no chance of acquiring Tiberium, according to S3PE.
  • The result of transfiguration depends on the gem, so if you don't have Tiberium in the first place to place at the display case, you won't be able to acquire Tiberium either, according to SimsWiki.
  • Although not listed, entering the portal in magical wardrobe will never reward Tiberium, since it will only reward some Base Game and Supernatural items.

Tiberium growth[edit source]

I'm fairly certain tiberium will only grow into a large spire if it has enough room to do so (i.e. room equivalent to four small gem cuts in a square), can anyone confirm? Zaerosz (talk) 05:40, June 28, 2014 (UTC)

I can't confirm it since I've only experienced the growth once. After all, I've always cramped all the Tiberium gem dust, which might be the problem it never grew. I'll probably try your tips next time! Nikel Talk Vote! 06:07, July 16, 2014 (UTC)
Indeed? I'll take a look into it. Like Nikel, I myself cramp the gem dust into one space, and from what I know, when there are big spires, you gotta remove those big spires to get your next big spires faster. I just checked the game codes, and I can confirm that tiberium will only grow if it has sufficient space. If it's on the ground, it won't grow if it's too cramped. If it's on a surface, it won't grow if the surface cannot hold the large spire (Imagine that you use up all the table slots with a tiberium and clutters. The tiberium won't grow since the table is too full with clutters. It will retry to grow once you move the clutters).
The problem is, I don't know the exact space needed for the tiberium to grow. Just make sure it's sufficient for a large gem cut to be placed. Nikel Talk Vote! 09:58, August 1, 2014 (UTC)
