Unicorn

A Unicorn.

Unicorn is a new creature added to the upcoming The Sims 3: Pets. It was announced for the first time on The Sims 3: Pets - Gamescom Trailer (Germany).[1]

Unicorn is a mystical, magical creature that can be added into any family. There are two kinds of unicorn:

  • Good - Good unicorns bless Sims and helps them with gardening.
  • Bad - Bad unicorns curse Sims, brings them bad luck and starts fires.[2]

Unicorns can not be sold for adoption but have long lives. They can mate and have fouls with other unicorns, but not with other horses. Fry can be unicorns or horses.[3]

Abilities

  • Teleport
  • Heal
  • Create Fire
  • Bless or Curse plants or Sims [3]

Trivia

  • When unicorns run, they have a glowing, sparkly kind of mist that trails them. Also, when standing still, a rainbow may autonomously shoot from their mane into the sky (this may only be possible with "good" unicorns).
  • Unicorns are possibly the fastest creatures in The Sims series so far, because of their incredibly fast running ability that most pets don't have.
