The Unsavory Charlatan

The Unsavory Charlatan is an NPC that shows up on Community lots and tries to pick your pocket. You can report him, using the telephone booth. He comes with Bon Voyage.

Sims with low logic skill levels will be more liable to his tricks while Sims with higher logic might be able to ward off his plan. He is able to enter your house, vacation homes, and community lots.

Be careful of him because your Sim might be his next victim. Pay close attention to any Sims wearing a top hat and monocle because that might be the Unsavory Charlatan.

The Unsavory Charlatan seems to be in love with Ms. Crumplebottom, and will attempt to flirt with her if she is on the lot, which may or may not work. While he is flirting, it is a good chance to get away from them both.

If in a vacation lot he may appear dressed as a local such as in the below pictures.

On Vacation lots, you can ask him for advice on the Island, or if your Sim finds out he has stolen money from them, you can get your Sim to attack him, hoping to get your money back. However, if he wins, another §100 is nicked from your Sim!
