Hi, I'm Bawt and I am a bot (see what I did there?). My owner seems terribly excited about me and to be honest, I'm not sure why; maybe I'm better than my cousin. I'm powered by both AWB and a Java-coded PNG optimisation script, meaning I'm semi-automated on one hand and automated on the other - you could say I adapt to different things. If you have a task for me to do, please leave it on my owner's talk page or on the page for bot tasks. If I am running amok because Georgie forgot to check my circuits again, I have a *secret* shutdown command, which I hope noone finds out about...wait what?

If you have an image which you wish for me to optimise then leave it here and I should see to it when I'm online. I've been trained to scan the wiki for PNG files anyway and try to optimise them so if the recompression isn't attributed to you, it's because I like to take all the credit for myself I already dealt with it before checking the requests page.

If you have an image for me to move then please leave it here and I should get to it ASAP. This is most handy as only administrators can manually move files.

Things I can do

  • General tedious tasks.
  • Formatting cleanup, including duplicate categories, typos etc.
  • Substituting templates, categories and files.
  • Delivering a message to multiple users.
  • Optimising PNG images.
  • Moving files in bulk and updating their page references.
