About me[edit source]

Hi, I'm Sloppyjoemess (A grade school nickname), and I have been an active contributor on the wiki since July of 2010, but first played as Bob Newbie in July of 2006, and as Tutorial Joe in October 2006. The Sims is an amazing game, and anyone who says otherwise always seems to get a copy to play it for themselves from me, and of course has a change of mind afterwards. I happen to be the owner of every Sims game out, including the rarer by the minute The Sims: Complete Collection, which I recommend to any avid Simmer. I also have many SimCity branded games, such as 2000, SC4, and SCURK. On top of that, I am such a fanatic that I happen to have Glabe Glarn on my iPod (No joke).I'm the top (and only) contributor on Humongous Entertainment Wikia, a wiki dedicaded to some of the best point and click games EVER, having written a quarter of the articles there. I have to say, though, I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of new items on The Sims 3 Store. But with all of the great daily deals lately, I can't complan much. And I am proud to announce that as of 9:05 PM on October 9, 2010 EDT, I have 100 edits! Yay! So with that, Happy Simming! Sloppyjoemess 01:20, October 10, 2010 (UTC)

(PS - If anyone out there has loading screen music from Livin' Large, Hot Date, and Vacation, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks!)

The Sims 3: Late Night Review[edit source]

Hello all, I've just come out of playing Late Night for almost four days straight, and I can only come up with one word: AWESOME. This is my first EP review, seeing I've only been on the Wiki for two months, so I'll start from the beginning.

I had the opporitunity to pick up my copy on launch day (October 26, here in the states), and it installed very quickly and easily. Upon startup, I heard loading screen music that was second to that of only the great loaing conga. Finally, I loaded Bridgeport. It was very quick, and when it finally loaded, I was stunned. It was definitely the best town yet in TS3. I played around with various features in Edit Town, took a glance at buydebug, and finally, loaded the Shutter family. But then... Crash to desktop. That's when I realized that the very same team who ruined World Adventures, ruined Late Night. I tried various compatibility modes (Gotta love Windows 7), and got various bugs, glitches, and corruptions, but finally settled on Windows XP Service Pack 3 mode, the least glitchy. Once I did that, I still couldn't play Bridgeport, but all of my other towns were fine. Additionally, I tried to open CAW, and guess what? CRASH.

Overall, Late Night was probably less buggy than World Adventures, and much quicker than Ambitions. The pack really exhibited the gritty feel of city life (I should know, I live five miles from New York), which I have been waiting for for a whole four years. The attention to detail was spectacular, and the good outweighed the bad. I hope we see a lot more packs like this one. 4.5/5 stars.

BRUNTON's Boxcar Diner![edit source]

You know, it's funny. Some admins (Not saying who) busted my "chops" about a statement I made about skyscrapers (See it on my talk page), which was perfectly right, yet they have been getting the name of the Twinbrook diner wrong for five months. TSW: BRUNTON's Boxcar Diner!!!
