Hi there Sims Wikians! Today, EA have confirmed that the next EP will be The Sims 3: Pets, in this interview with Ben Bell (thanks to LanieObsessed for the link). The official YouTube channel for The Sims series have uploaded this announcement trailer which reveals the EP is real, after it was leaked at the same time The Sims 3: Generations was announced, under the working title of The Sims 3: Unleashed. It's no surprise that EA have selected Pets as a new EP, as it is something that everyone wants to see in The Sims series. The Sims 3: Pets will be released for the PC, Mac, Nintendo 3DS, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms. There has been no official release date announced yet by EA but several sources are saying October 2011. We do know however that The Sims 3: Pets will be on show at E3 2011.
