Hola! As usual here is a breakdown on all things related to The Sims that have happened in the past week.

The Sims News

This week has been fairly lively, like last week, in the world of The Sims.

• Patch 1.50 was released for The Sims 3 which prepared the game for the release of The Sims 3: University Life as well as bringing in numerous (and overdue) bug fixes. However since installing the patch, some users have complained of further issues that have risen or remained unfixed, as well as numerous crashes. An issue with installing the update for some users was claimed to have been fixed on PC though Mac gamers may have to wait.
• Aurora Skies was released today on The Sims 3 Store. EDIT: May not be released yet in some regions (I went by TSW's countdown :/) - https://twitter.com/TheSims3/status/304413903503372290
• The musical score for The Sims 3: University Life was unveiled.

Wiki News

Fairly dead this week so I've added a few other things just to take up space and whatnot.

• Congratulations to our newest Chat moderator, GAHSIcepick! :)
• I guess this is worth a shout out for the sake of taking up space; happy birthday DanPin! :D
• As well as every other unanswered thread on Forum:Community discussions, there is one new thread proposing to eliminate/protect Forum:The Sims 4 predictions. Please note that all of these threads are important as they are a major factor in deciding the future of The Sims Wiki. Please stop by and have your say.
• Unrelated to The Sims series in its entirety but as a "just for fun" thing, a Team Fortress 2 server was setup for members of The Sims Wiki to use. Feel free to drop by, bring your friends and most importantly have fun!
• Requests for rollback, Requests for administratorship, Requests for bureaucratship, Requests for IRC chanop and Requests for chat moderator are always open. If you'd like to have a go at any of these roles, provided you meet the prerequisites, then feel free to apply.

On a lighter note, a humorous review for a world made by a former TSW...uhh "user" was written.
