Spotted some vandalism? We have a team of administrators who will happily deal with vandalism when they see it. If you have found some vandalism from a user who hasn't been sanctioned, you can help by reporting it!
Need help? The Community Portal has an outline of the site, and pages to help you learn how to edit. You may also try asking for help on the IRC channel, where some users may be able to help you!
Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything about the wiki! -- LostInRiverview (Talk) 21:54, March 29, 2013

Deletion of Toad Sim article[edit source]

I deleted the article you created, entitled Toad Sim. Please don't recreate the article as it doesn't warrant it's own page. Feel free to add the information about the spell in The Sims 3: Supernatural. Thanks! Beds (parlare - da leggere) 19:11, July 29, 2013 (UTC)

Deletion of Create a Bot[edit source]

I deleted the Create a Bot article because a) you simply copied text from Plumbot, and b) not enough is known about it for it to rate its own article. to justify it does not, based on what is currently known about the feature, rate its own article. That may well change as we learn more about Into the Future, but for now, do not re-create it. Dharden (talk) 20:46, July 29, 2013 (UTC)

Notice from the Administrators
One or more of your edits has added potentially false information to an article. Please check the validity of all information before adding it to an article. If you are unsure, discuss the information on the article talk page before adding it.

Additional Information: Our policy on as-yet-unreleased games and expansions is that all information added to articles about them must cite a specific trustworthy source. You have repeatedly failed to do that. In the future, do not add information about an as-yet-unreleased game or expansion without citing a source.

Notice[edit source]

Notice from the Administrators

Your latest edit to The Sims: Makin' Magic not only removed the ratings, but attempted to add false information. I say "attempted" because you misspelled the field in the template. The Sims: Makin' Magic does not add creatures. While an NPC Fairy and Vampire are present, those are not playable life states. Magic is present, but the only difference between Sims who can do it and those that can't is the presence of a wand, which can be easily acquired or disposed of. In addition, the term "Witch" is not used.

Editing restrictions[edit source]

I do get the impression that you mean well and want to make positive contributions, but you haven't exactly compiled a very good record. That you do give the impression of wanting to make positive contributions is very likely why you hadn't been blocked before Aug. 9. Still, given your record to date, I must ask that you accept the following restrictions:

  • You are not to edit any infoboxes in any way. If you want to practice editing infoboxes, use the sandbox. For now, if you think an infobox needs to be edited, make a case for it on the article's talk page.
  • You are not to edit or create any article or section about an unreleased game, expansion pack, or stuff pack, or about anything that may be in such a game or pack. For now, if you want to present information about an unreleased game, expansion pack, or stuff pack, or about anything that may be in an unreleased game or pack, do it on the article's talk page. In other words, show us that you can and will provide reliable information from reliable sources, and not rumor, supposition, etc., and we'll reconsider this.

Please note: I have asked you to accept these restrictions because I hope you will, but you will be blocked if you do not abide by them.

BTW, the article that mentioned "Monster Mash" was apparently meant as humor. In any case, it clearly said "These are the concepts that we imagine littering the cutting room floor," and did not suggest that EA had ever actually considered those ideas, or that anyone had seriously proposed them. Dharden (talk) 21:20, August 11, 2013 (UTC)

Notice[edit source]

Since your recent edit to Game engine was consctructive, and since information on SmartSim was in the main article on The Sims 4, I am willing to overlook the technical editing restrictions in this case. Please note that I am not lifting the restrictions at this time.

Also, I must ask that you provide some source for this edit about "Mermaid-Vampires". On the surface, it makes sense that this could happen, whether EA intended it to or not, but given your record... Dharden (talk) 13:15, August 24, 2013 (UTC)
