Profanity[edit source]

Hi and welcome to The Sims Wiki. While you are free to voice your views in the forums, could you please try to keep the profanity to a minimum, as you used profanity here, when you could have used a better word. Just a friendly heads up. Regards, GG (t)(c)(b) 11:15, January 30, 2011 (UTC)

RE: Newbie family[edit source]

The paragraph you removed did have useful information in it. The part about Brandi being referenced to a drink is still there, Bob Newbie is famous amongst Sim players as he is referenced in all three games. So basically, you have removed a large amount of useful information from the article. GG (t)(c)(b) 21:53, January 30, 2011 (UTC)

Re:Illness[edit source]

Unless you have a "legit" source that they don't exist, then don't add it. Ѧüя◎ґ 23:28, March 5, 2011 (UTC)

Well, for now, I'm glad you decided to put them under, "unconfirmed" instead of entirely removing them. Ѧüя◎ґ 12:03, March 10, 2011 (UTC)

Strays[edit source]

I have deleted the stray articles that you have created because of a few factors. Firstly, at least one of the articles used an image of an animal, which is in another article. Secondly, townies are assigned with random names when more are needed in the game, even if they have the same characer model as another animal, which ties in with the first point I made. Lost Labyrinth (c)(b) 16:49, March 9, 2011 (UTC)

Disregard the above. I have restored the articles so you can edit them as you see fit. Also, my apologies for the error as I was under the assumption that Pet townies were treated like Sim townies, plus I have never played Unleashed. Again, my apologies. Lost Labyrinth (c)(b) 17:02, March 9, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Strays.png[edit source]

I'll check it out as soon as the coffee kicks in. I don't know what TZ you're in, but for me, that was posted at around 4:30 am. Dharden (talk) 13:33, March 12, 2011 (UTC)

OK, I deleted it, and marked it as deleted by author request. Dharden (talk) 13:50, March 12, 2011 (UTC)

Images[edit source]

Hey, is it any possibility that you could change File:The_Sims_Roaches.png image to make the background white, instead of green? Ѧüя◎ґ 15:05, March 12, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks, but could you also do File:Roach Freak Out.png as well? Ѧüя◎ґ 20:46, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
Green background removed from File:Roach Freak Out.png. Try not to upload images with green backgrounds. Thankfully, they can easily be taken out since they're .png images. Ѧüя◎ґ 21:09, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
We use the transparent backgrounds for Sims, and other images, though, not green screens. The green background during a regular Sim environment would be a generally unacceptable image, as it is usually seen as a mod, or something not found in the game. Ѧüя◎ґ 22:42, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for adding such gorgeous images to The Sims articles, they have very few! Thanks so much for your contributions (I particularly like the image of a madam freaking out XD)! --Guilherme Guerreiro (talk here) 22:44, March 12, 2011 (UTC)

Repo Man[edit source]

Oh, never mind about that warning before. The tip is correct, they will complain if you don't possess any furniture, and will not deduct your family fund. The tip is that, you reserve your furniture by putting it into inventory first before the repo man arrives. Nikel Talk 16:09, December 24, 2011 (UTC)

I want remind you to becareful next time when correcting an article. don't also delete the correct info and/or category like what you done in repoman page. it can be considered as removing information from article and you can be blocked by administrator. Wiryawan310 18:19, December 24, 2011 (UTC)
In my opinion, the tip is of limited use. You might as well say "pay the bills, then the repo man won't arrive". But if you think it's helpful, I'm not going to argue with that. --Anz 17:29, January 8, 2012 (UTC)
