No, if a sentence is contained inside parentheses, placing the period inside the parentheses is not an error. I know it's something that's not uniformly done, though I don't recall if it's a US/Commonwealth usage issue, but it is not an error. Dharden (talk) 00:40, November 16, 2010 (UTC)

But, the category-adding has to stop. I really am thankful that you've taken time out of your day to help The Sims Wiki grow, but adding non-existent categories won't help. Hi there! Like Auror said above, you do not need to keep adding pages to categories needlessly. For example, Hospital doesn't need to be added to [[Category:Hospitals]] or Military base doesn't need to be added to [[Category:Military bases]] etc. If you are unsure what I am talking about then feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. ... are you going to stay, or are you going to leave just because a couple of users took issue with something you did? You tried to be bold, and in doing so, you may have gotten carried away with the categories. Still, I think I understand what you were trying to do. (The explanation A morris gave on Category Talk:Candidates for deletion helped with that.)
I think some people are on edge over the issue of "badge boosting" or "rank boosting", and may see it when it's not necessarily there. I think that may have been a factor here, as someone who was trying to "badge boost" or "rank boost" might have done the same sort of thing you did.
